Today's Friday the 26th. Black Friday.
Earlier this morning I sat on Bella's bed beginning to pack up some of my belongings. "Bells can you hand me my pink plaid scarf please?" I asked. Bella reluctantly handed it to me. Once everything that could be packed was stowed in my suitcase I put the suitcase on the floor and leaned back on the soft bed. "Sis, I'm gonna miss you more than anything when I go back home," I muttered.
In just two days I would be on a plane back to Oregon, my home.
"Nothing will be the same without you," Bella cried.
"I know. I know," I replied pulling her into a big hug. "But we'll both have tons of pictures to remember this visit and maybe sometime soon like for Christmas you could come and visit me in Oregon."
"Maybe," Bella mumbled with tears in her eyes.
"When I leave you have to promise me one thing."
"What?" Bells inquired.
"You have to promise me you will wear all of the clothes we bought when we went shopping together," I declared.
"I promise," My twin sister agreed with a sad smile on her face. I nodded and jumped off her bed.
"Let's go downstairs and see if a rerun of Glee is on."
As we bolted down the stairs a tiny tear slipped down my cheek and plopped onto the ground...
